By combining quality inbound links with the right anchor text you can raise your website’s chances of ranking highly in the natural results of the search engines. Common methods to acquire quality inbound links include directory submission, good old fashioned industry research coupled with link inquiries, article creation and distribution, whitepaper creation and distribution, optimized press release and online wire fee distribution, and other content generation and distribution techniques.
